WAUKESHA - A man is in custody as police investigate the death of his wife, authorities said Wednesday.
Ginger Brannon's body was found at the bottom of the stairs of her home on W. College Avenue Tuesday morning.
The Waukesha County Medical Examiner hasn't determined the cause of Brannon's death. Police arrested Brannon's husband because he wasn't supposed to have contact with her. John Brannon was cited for domestic abuse over the weekend and was ordered to stay away from his wife.
"He's someone we're very interested in obtaining information from,"Capt. Dennis Angle told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Jodi Becker.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
