Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have arrested a woman they say shot and killed her husband after a domestic dispute.
Stephanie Marquez Sibert, 38, has been charged with murder in the death of 41-year-old Stephon Sibert.
Deputies say on Nov. 28 at 3:30 a.m., she and her husband got into a verbal fight at a home on Charmont Drive. That's off of Flora Drive near Two Notch Road in Northeast Richland County. According to deputies, Stephanie Sibert had just returned home from visiting with a family member.
During the argument, deputies say Stephanie Sibert got a handgun and fired a shot at the victim's head. Investigators say the woman left the home with her adolescent son and called the authorities from a neighbor's home.
Stephanie Sibert is being held at the Richland County Jail.

(NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
