A Marion County man is accused of shooting a dog to death and threatening to kill his live-in girlfriend.
Terry Lee Cook, 52, was arrested Wednesday after a SWAT unit used tear gas to apprehend him.
The Silver Springs man is being held without bail at the Marion County Jail. He faces charges of domestic aggravated assault with a firearm and animal cruelty.
