The wife of a Fort Campbell soldier was found dead in her home over the weekend, leaving friends and family with more questions than answers.
Linzi Jenks, 21, lived on post with her husband and two young kids. According to a press release, military police responded to a 911 call and found her dead in the Ft. Campbell home on Sunday.
According to WAVE TV, Linzi's husband is Robert Jenks III. The military confirms he is a soldier stationed at Ft. Cambell.
Army officials call it a death investigation and have not termed Jenks' death a homicide, leaving friends wondering.
"We've been told it was her husband. We've been told it was kind of suicide. We've been told it was an accident. But we really don't know anything for sure yet," Haley Hall said.
Sources close to the case say Robert Jenks III has been questioned and even charged in his wife's death, but Army officials have not confirmed that information.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
