An Inman woman is accused of shooting a man Monday morning in Spartanburg County.
Deputies say they were called to a home on Rushmore Drive where they found 38-year-old Steven McDowell shot to death.
Investigators say Sharon Nicole Miller killed McDowell during a domestic violence incident.
Miller is charged with one count of murder and is being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
The motive in the case has not yet been identified.
McDowell was on home detention after being charged with murder in 2010 in a 2001 death according to The Associated Press. Two other people also are charged in the death of 34-year-old Michael Smith of Spartanburg.
The State Law Enforcement Division background check on Miller shows a number of charges filed and convictions against her dating back more than 20 years.
Miller was convicted of grand larceny in 1991 and had a conviction for receiving stolen goods in 1999.
SLED's report also shows convictions for fraudulent checks and shoplifting. The arrest Monday is the first on her record since 2001.
