CHESTERFIELD - A Chesterfield County man has been charged with stabbing a man to death, stabbing a woman and then turning the knife on himself during a domestic dispute Wednesday, according to Chesterfield County police.
Police are still investigating the stabbing that occurred in a home in the 7500 block of Cimarron Court early Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 2 a.m., police received a 911 call from a female, who reported that she and two men had been stabbed at a home in the 7500 block of Cimarron Court. The home is in a residential area north of Midlothian Turnpike.
Edwin A. Solorzano, 35, was found dead at the scene by police. The woman was transported to Chippenham Hospital, where she is now in stable condition.
A second man, Felix Carrillo, 23, was transported to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond with an apparent self-inflicted wound.
Police have obtained warrants charging Carrillo with first-degree murder and malicious wounding. He will be arrested upon his release from VCU Medical Center.
Police say an apparent domestic dispute led to the stabbing. Police are not releasing the name of the female victim.
