LAPEER COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
Michigan State police say they have arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman in Lapeer County.
Authorities say 20-year-old Andrea Eilber, of Otisville, was found dead early Wednesday morning at a Mayfield Township home where she was house-sitting.
Her family notified officers about her disappearance late Tuesday night when they did not hear from her.
The woman's car was found early Wednesday morning in a parking lot at the Lapeer State Game Area on Five Lakes Road.
A 19-year-old man is in custody in connection to the homicide and is being lodged at the Lapeer County Jail.
Authorities said the two were dating and worked at a Kroger together.
Anyone with information about the case is urged to call the Lapeer Michigan State Police post at 810-664-2905.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
