CAMDEN, S.C. -- The Kershaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating what deputies believe is a murder-suicide involving a man and his estranged wife.
Sheriff Jim Matthews says two bodies were found at the home on Wednesday after police received a 911 call from the husband's sister.
County Coroner Johnny Fellers identified the two as 47-year-old Nancy Patricia Stone, who lived at the home, and 44-year-old Reginald Stone.
Matthews says the two were married but estranged, and that Reginald Stone had sent a letter to his sister saying he planned to kill his wife and then himself.
Investigators found a handgun, shell casings and bullet fragments at the home.
Matthews says Nancy Stone is survived by a 14-year-old daughter.
