BONNERS FERRY — A Boundary County woman is dead and her boyfriend is in jail in connection with a fatal shooting Friday afternoon.
Anna Old, 43, was shot and killed in her home on Deep Creek Loop on Friday, according to a press release issued by the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office.
The death is under investigation by Idaho State Police and the BCSO and investigators were still on scene late Friday night.
According to a BCSO spokesperson, John August Funkhouser, 61, of Oregon called 911 at 1:45 p.m. to report the shooting.
Funkhouser was arrested at the scene and is in custody at Boundary County jail pending investigation.
