FAIRFIELD—
Solano County Sheriff’s deputies, along with officers from the California Highway Patrol, witnessed a murder-suicide in Fairfield Thursday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a 911 call about a disturbance with a gun between two people inside a car on Chadbourne Road.
Once deputies and CHP officers found the car, a white Cadillac, they heard a gunshot and saw a muzzle flash inside. Moments later, they heard a second shot and saw a second flash. The car then slowly rolled to a stop on the side of the road.

Officers found both occupants, 25-year-old Erica Dominguez and 35-year-old Enrique Preciado dead inside the car. The gun was found in possession of Preciado.
The Solano County Sheriff’s Department will continue to investigate.
