RENO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say a 56-year-old unemployed Reno man has been arrested after walking into police headquarters and telling the desk officer he killed his wife.
Sgt. Kim Bradshaw says Samuel P. Kung was taken into custody about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, and officers found a woman's body at his apartment on Harvard Way.
Bradshaw didn't immediately say how the woman died, or whether a weapon was involved. But she said the death was the result of a crime.
Kung is being held at the Washoe County jail pending a court appearance on suspicion of open murder.

(NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
