PORT CHARLOTTE, FL. - Charlotte County deputies are investigating the death of a Port Charlotte couple.
A man and woman were found inside their home in the 1800 block of Quadrille Avenue Wednesday night.
According to a report, family members called the sheriff's office just before 7pm to check on the couple. When deputies arrived, they found the couple dead inside the home, along with a weapon.
The cause of death pertaining to both victims appears to be self-inflicted, but still under investigation.
Positive identification has not been made at this time.
The bodies have been transported to the Medical Examiner's Office. Crime Scene Tech's and Detectives are still processing the scene.
