Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and apparent suicide of a man at 2600 Westridge about 12:45 p.m. on Friday (June 4).
The female, Edwina Foster, 43, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The male suspect, George Tyler Hudson (b/m, DOB: 8-20-42) suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Senior Police Officer W. Ferguson reported:
HPD patrol officers and HFD emergency personnel responded to the Mainridge Apartments at the above address after residents reported a foul odor coming from one of the apartments. Officer and HFD personnel forced entry into the apartment and found the male and female deceased.
