St. Joseph County Police are calling it a possible murder-suicide.
A husband and wife were both found shot to death at their home in New Carlisle around five Saturday afternoon.
Police are not releasing too many details at this point, but say they received a 911 call from a neighbor. The neighbor reported that a female was lying in the front yard of a home on the 55,000 block of Nature View Drive.
When police arrived, they discovered the woman was shot to death.
Her husband was found inside the home.
"We will get some info on them. If there was any problems between the two, if they had problems with individuals, what's going on in their lives, until we can talk to family and friends and we will continue to talk to neighbors," said Mike Grzegorek with St. Joseph County Metro Homicide.
Metro Homicide is investigating the case.
The names of the deceased won't be released until family is notified.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
