PHILADELPHIA—Authorities are calling the shooting deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a sport utility vehicle in north Philadelphia a suspected murder-suicide.
Police said the bodies were found shortly before noon Tuesday in an SUV in the parking lot of the Wayne Junction transit station in the Nicetown section of the city.
The two were identified as 26-year-old Vanessa Watson-Banks of Tioga and 31-year-old Louis McCrae of Elkins Park.
Police said the woman was in the driver's seat and had been shot in the right side of the head.
The man was in the passenger seat, and police said he had apparently shot himself through the mouth.
