ANAHEIM A man and a woman found shot to death inside an Anaheim Hills condominium in what appears to be a murder-suicide have been identified, police said Tuesday.
Christine Lauren Bennett, 27, and Alexei Ocana, 31, both from Anaheim, were discovered after police responded to reports of shots fired about 7:40 p.m. Friday at a condominium in the 1000 block of South Sundance Drive, just steps from Weir Canyon Wilderness Park in Anaheim Hills, Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn said.
"They were in a former dating relationship," Dunn said, but the motive for the apparent murder-suicide was unknown.
Dunn said that a firearm was used in the incident and that Bennett and Ocana suffered gunshot wounds.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday to determine the cause of death, but the findings were not immediately available.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident as a murder-suicide and are not looking for suspects.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
