HOUSTON - Law enforcement officers in Harris County say a man admits killing his girlfriend and dumping her body in a creek.
Divers recovered the body early Wednesday morning from Spring Creek, just west of I-45.
According to investigators, the man walked into a Houston Police substation Tuesday night and admitted killing his girlfriend and dragging her body into the creek.
Deputies found a blood trail and say there was enough evidence to warrant an investigation.
They sent a dive team to the creek and the woman's body was found at about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say the suspect made his brother help him dump the woman's body.
