Ellen Snyder stands before a judge earlier this month.
The Bernalillo County District Attorney's Office says a grand jury has indicted Ellen Snyder on seven felony counts in connection with her ex-husband's disappearance and murder.
The DA's office says the charges against the 50-year-old include first-degree murder, tax fraud, tampering with evidence and identity theft.
Albuquerque police arrested Snyder in early February after her ex-husband's remains were unearthed at the couple's former home in the Northeast Heights.
Michael Snyder went missing in 2002.
Ellen Snyder's son, Michael Sheffield, told police that Michael Snyder's body was buried at the home, and police say he admitted helping his mother wrap the body in plastic.
Sheffield told police that Ellen Snyder pulled the trigger, killing his step dad.
Police began digging through the floor of a garage at 11600 Anaheim, near Paseo del Norte and Tramway, after receiving the tip.
Snyder's remains were found on the property.
Police say that Ellen Snyder filed for divorce after his disappearance.
