An Alhambra man charged with murder in the death of his ex-girlfriend in 2007 was ordered Friday to return to Alhambra Court on March 19 for a pretrial hearing.
Isaac Campbell, 34, is accused in the death of Liya "Jessie" Lu, 31, of San Gabriel. Her body was found stuffed in a trash can at a home in Arcadia about a month after she was reported missing. Lu and Campbell were both nursing students at Pasadena City College. Lu went missing on Aug. 11, 2007.
Shortly after Lu disappeared, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Campbell.
