GARLAND
Police responded to a domestic violence call just before midnight in the 3300 block of Russwood Lane at Jupiter Lane.
Garland police say a woman who lived in the house told them her son had apparently shot her boyfriend. As she fled the home, she heard another gun shot, believed to be the son killing himself.
Police say another woman, in her 20s, also lived at the home. "When she came home from work, before the mother got home, she was assaulted by the son. When the mother got home, both of them were able to get away from the house as they heard the gunshot, apparently when the son killed himself," said Garland officer Joe Harn.

(NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
