Richmond, VA: Henrico Murder Suspect, Victim Had Troubled Relationship

Police are looking for a Richmond man in connection to the overnight shooting death of a Henrico County woman.

Police found 21-year-old Tiffany Lakesha Green shot to death inside her Newbridge Road apartment just after midnight, after responding to a call for shots fired in the area.

Henrico Police are looking for Green's ex-boyfriend, 19-year-old Alvin Rashawn Marshall, from Richmond. He is considered armed and dangerous.

As of 7:30 a.m., police were searching a wooded area near Nine Mile Road for Marshall, not far from Fair Oaks Elementary School. Anyone with information concerning Marshall's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.

According to online court records, Marshall was due in court next month on charges stemming from allegations made by murder victim Green. Marshall is charged with making harassing phone calls, extortion and misdemeanor assault stemming from an incident reported in February.

According to court records obtained by 8News, Green had taken out two protective orders this year against the suspect, both of which had expired. Her initial filing claimed that Marshall had assaulted her and threatened her numerous times. Court records stated that Green feared for her life.

Court records listed Green as the accuser in all three charges.
