SAN ANTONIO - The boyfriend of a woman found dead in San Antonio is now a suspect in her death.
In fact, the man has already been arrested and charged in connection with another homicide.
Bexar County sheriff's officials say 32-year-old David Kent Langdon has been arrested for the shooting death of a police cadet's father in San Antonio.
We're told he knocked and the victim's door and shot him once he opened the door.
Less than 24 hours later police found the body of 1995 Carroll High School graduate, Arlene Ogden dumped behind a business on Highway 281 in northern Bexar County.
Officials say they expect to have enough evidence against Langdon by next week to charge him with Ogdens death.
Meanwhile, Ogden's family believes Langdon killed Ogden, then drove her car to Kerrville where he was arrested last week.
The family says they were told by police that the murder weapon was also recovered.
Arlene Ogden will be laid to rest next week in San Antonio.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
