The ex-husband of a Springfield woman who was found dead in a car Monday has been charged with murder.
Kelly Kimes, 51, of Springfield was charged today with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Kelly and Kristi Kimes were divorced in March, 2003.
Kristi Kimes has filed for multiple orders of protection against her ex-husband over the past year.
Kristi Kimes was found with a stab wound to her neck in a Taco Bell parking lot early Monday morning.
