A Fort Collins woman was arrested today for allegedly stabbing her ex-husband to death last week.
Stephanie Theander, 38, was arrested around noon at the Northern Colorado Medical Center, according to a news release from Fort Collins Police Services.
On Aug. 8, Theander's ex-husband, 48-year-old Gregg Theander, was found dead inside his home in the 2200 block of Creststone Court, with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
Theander's girlfriend found his body after she could not reach him by phone and learned he had not shown up for work.
Stephanie Theander faces one charge of first-degree murder, one charge of first-degree burglary and one charge of domestic violence.
She is being held at the Larimer County jail.
