A Verona man charged with killing his girlfriend's father was ordered to stand trial today in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court.
Steven Williams, 26, is charged in the death of Mark Bigenho, 49, after police found him unconscious at his daughter's apartment on Allegheny River Boulevard early Sunday morning.
He died of blunt force head trauma.
According to police, Mr. Bigenho, who had been staying with his daughter, was shoved by Mr. Williams, who struck his head on an undisclosed surface.
Mr. Williams is charged with one count each of criminal homicide and tampering with evidence.
He is being held without bail.
