LANSING | The trial of a Lansing man accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend has been delayed for a second time.
Leavenworth County District Court judge on Wednesday agreed to continue the trial of Sedale L. Fox to March 22. The trial had been scheduled to start in September, but was first delayed until Nov. 9.
The 24-year-old Fox is charged with capital murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. He is accused of murdering 20-year-old Olivia Jackson on Jan. 22, 2008, in Lansing. The woman's unborn child also died.
Jackson, who was due to deliver her baby in March of last year, was shot to death inside Fox's mobile home in Lansing.
Fox also is accused of plotting to kill Jackson in a Jan. 11, 2008, bombing in Leavenworth.
