The Simpsonville Police Department has arrested Bradford Shane Dunn of Simpsonville with Murder.
He is charged in the death of his girlfriend Melinda Pemberton who died October 15, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Pemberton was injured by Dunn in an altercation on August 25, 2009.
She was left at the Walgreens store on Fairview Road and was transported to the hospital by the Greenville EMS.
He was located and arrested later that night by Simpsonville officers and has been in the Greenville County Detention Center.
At that time he was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature.
An autopsy was completed on Pemberton on Friday and the medical examiner and the Greenville County Coroners Office have ruled her death as a homicide.
She died of complications after surgery while at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Dunn has been booked and processed at the police department and has been returned to the Greenville County Detention Center under no bond.
