DENVER - A 29-year-old man was sentenced on Friday for stabbing his girlfriend to death in February 2008.
The Denver District Attorney's Office says James Greenwood was sentenced to 48 years behind bars for the second-degree murder of 22-year-old Antoinette "Toni" Clark. They say the murder happened in the 1400 block of St. Paul Street in a home the couple shared.
Greenwood received an additional 2-year sentence for cultivation of marijuana after plants were found growing inside the home.
