A man and a woman were found dead of gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon in Norwalk, in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide.
Officers responded to a report of assault with a deadly weapon in the 11500 block of Tina Street at 12:50 p.m., said Rick Pedroza, a deputy sheriff. Upon entering the location, sheriff’s deputies found a man and a woman, both dead from gunshot wounds, Pedroza said.
Deputies believe it was a murder-suicide, Pedroza said. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
The woman was identified Sunday as Toni Vazueta, 29, of Norwalk. The man’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his family.
