A man died Saturday morning after he was stabbed at a residence on Miccosukee Road in eastern Leon County, according to Sgt. Tony Drzewiecki, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy J. Cobb, 31, was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, Drzewiecki said.
Deputies were called to the home about 7:40 a.m. When they arrived, they found Cobb unconscious and performed CPR on him. Paramedics also rendered aid and took him to the hospital, Drzewiecki said.
Cobb’s ex-girlfriend lives at the residence, Drzewiecki said.
“He showed up ... and a physical altercation ensued,” Drzewiecki said. “And he was stabbed multiple times.”
The woman and another person, who was at the residence at the time of the stabbing, were interviewed by detectives.
“And they are cooperating fully,” Drzewiecki said.
No arrests have been made.
Drzewiecki said it was early in the investigation and that more information would likely be released Monday.
