TULSA, Oklahoma - A man was killed and a wife seriously wounded in an attempted murder-suicide in south Tulsa Friday night.
It happened in the 1000 block of East 61st Street.
Police say the incident started out as a domestic dispute between the married couple but turned deadly when the man confronted the wife with a gun.
Police say he shot the woman and then turned the gun on himself.
EMSA pronounced the husband, 40, dead at the scene and transported the woman, 33, to the hospital in serious condition.
Authorities haven't released the couple's names, due to pending family notifications.
