JUNEAU, Alaska — Juneau police say a man who shot a woman before shooting himself as part of a failed murder-suicide is dead.
The 42-year-old man was not identified on Saturday.
The woman, also 42, suffered a gunshot wound to her abdomen, but police say her injury is not life-threatening, the Juneau Empire reports (http://bit.ly/sOpQGu ).
The woman placed a 911 call on Friday to report the shooting inside a Juneau residence at about 11 p.m.
