HARRISBURG, Ark. (KTHV) -- Authorities are now ruling the deaths of three people in Harrisburg are result of a murder-suicide.
Based investigative findings, as well as an analysis report from the Arkansas State Crime Lab, the deaths of Greg Leatherwood, his wife, Patricia and their son Kyle have been determined the result of murder-suicide.
The deaths are believed to have happened on or about Aug. 23.
The bodies were discovered when authorities were investigating a fire at the Leatherwood's home near the intersection of Hwy 163 and Hwy 14. Inside the house, authorities found the bodies of Greg and Patricia.
The body of Kyle was later discovered inside an apartment adjoining the family's Harrisburg business property.
The State Crime Lab report states each victim was shot with the same handgun found next to Patricia Leatherwood.
