OKLAHOMA CITY — Police have identified a woman who was killed in what authorities have described as a murder-suicide at a northwest Oklahoma City motel.
Police say Luis Miguel Avendano of Louisiana shot and killed 25-year-old Cui Qing Ni before committing suicide. A housekeeper at the Best Western Memorial Inn and Suites found the bodies in a room at the motel on Tuesday.
Investigators say there was no indication the woman was forced into the room. Police have said they think Avendano and the woman were involved in a relationship.
