Neighbors Foil Attempted Murder-Suicide

Neighbors in Jefferson County are being credited with saving a woman's life after her live-in boyfriend shot her. It happened in a mobile home park in Cedar Hill. The shooter eventually turned the shotgun on himself.

It's an attempted murder-suicide people who live in the area say is simply chilling.

Neighbors say the shooter Ray McCall began arguing with his girlfriend who had recently moved in with him in a mobile home park. McCall reportedly shot the victim in the knee.

Her neighbors helped to stop the bleeding. Jefferson county sheriff's deputies recovered a twenty gauge shot gun at the scene. neighbors also say McCall set his house on fire. The victim's injuries are said not to be life threatening.

Jefferson County Deputies are still investigation.
