(Fort Gaines, GA) (WALB) A Ft. Gaines woman was murdered and her boyfriend committed suicide on a city street about 2:15 Monday afternoon.
The GBI says the couple argued at the home they recently bought on Washington Street. She left in her car headed to a Ft. Gaines bank when he rammed her vehicle with his truck.
Authorities say he dragged the woman from her car, shot her to death, then shot and killed himself.
Authorties identified the dead as 29 year old Angela Sands and 40 year old Eddie Heard, Jr.
State Troopers from the Cuthbert post were called to Ft. Gaines to deal with the crowd that gathered at the scene.
