TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A Tulsa County judge has sentenced a woman to 20 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of her mother's boyfriend last year.

Marshae Jordan pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

The district attorney's office initially charged the 20-year-old with first-degree murder in the May 20, 2008, death of Guan Williams.

Assistant District Attorney John Lackey said Jordan's mother and the 49-year-old Williams had a "volatile relationship" that involved frequent fighting.

Williams died at a hospital.

District Judge Clancy Smith imposed a concurrent five-year term after Jordan pleaded guilty to escaping arrest.

She will get credit for the time she has spent in jail since her 2008 arrest.
