(CBS) DALLAS - A Dallas man is in custody after he walked into the county jail Thursday afternoon and calmly told sheriff's deputies that he'd killed his girlfriend, CBSDFW reported.
40-year-old Christopher Worley walked up to the Lew Sterrett Detention Center and confessed to the murder.
After the confession, Dallas police rushed to an apartment complex on Munger Avenue in Dallas. After forcing their way into the apartment, officers found the body of 51-year-old Becky Ann Gee.
No word from the Dallas Medical Examiner on how the woman died. Police officials declined to comment on a possible motive.
