Gibsonville, NC -- Guilford County Sheriff's Deputies arrested and charged a man for murdering his wife Saturday morning.
Deputies say Scott Wendell Davenport shot and killed his wife, Lisa, just after midnight.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the wife dead from apparent gunshot wounds. They arrested Davenport, and he's been charged with First Degree Murder.
Deputies are holding Davenport in the Guilford County Jail under a "no bond" hold, according to the police report.
