A Hutchinson man faces murder charges after a Wichita mother was shot and killed in her home.
Prosecutors charged Ronald Harner, 47, with second-degree murder for the death of Jolie Crosby. The 41-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound to the head in her Tallgrass home early Saturday morning.
Investigators said the death stemmed from a domestic dispute. Reno County officials confirm Harner was arrested for driving under the influence about three hours before Wichita Police say he killed his girlfriend.
Harner will return to court June 19 for a preliminary hearing.

(NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
