Okmulgee Police arrest a man on charges he killed his girlfriend, her body is still missing.
Ashley Taylor's family reported her missing on July 29th. They told investigators they last talked to Ashley on July 15th when she told them she was going to Louisiana with her boyfriend, Keith Sweat, to get married. Ashley told her mother she'd call after they got married but never did.
Investigators interviewed Keith Sweat on July 30th, he told them he and Ashley had a fight on the way to Louisiana and he let her out of the car on Highway 75 and hadn't seen her since. Okmulgee Police requested help from the State Bureau of Investigation and further investigation led them to question Sweat again.
On Wednesday, Sweat admitted he and Ashley got in a fight on July 17th and he caused her death. Police arrested Sweat on first degree murder charges, he is refusing to tell them where to find Ashley's body.
