LOXLEY, Alabama (WALA) - The wife of a Loxley man is charged with his murder. Britnea Myers was arrested Wednesday for stabbing her husband.
Deputies were called to the couple's home on Leatherbury Road August 14 around 11:46 p.m. When deputies arrived, Britnea was performing CPR on her husband, Timothy, and holding a towel over the wound. Timothy was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators said he had been stabbed once in the torso area. Their preliminary investigation found Britnea was the one who stabbed Timothy.
Britnea is charged with murder and being held at the Baldwin County Correctional Facility.
