Pahrump, NV (KTNV) -- A Pahrump man allegedly shot and killed his daughter's boyfriend early Thursday morning after becoming unhappy with their relationship.
Nye County Sheriff's deputies were called to reports of a shooting at about 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found a 21-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators said the victim's girlfriend's father, Daniel Robbins, was not happy with his daughter's relationship. Earlier that night, Robbins told his daugher's boyfriend to leave his property. When he refused, Robbins walked up to the victim and shot him in the head in the driveway.
Robbins, 46, was arrested and booked into the Nye County Sheriff's Office Detention Center and charged with murder and battery with a deadly weapon. Officials said he is being held without bail.
The victim was not immediately identified.
