YORK – The York County Sheriff's Department has charged a 43-year-old man with first degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Felice Hickey in her apartment on Thursday.
McCoy S. Johnson of the 500 block of Woodfin Road in Newport News, was arrested at his home without incident at 12:36 a.m. on Saturday, said Sgt. Dennis Ivey, of the York County Sheriff's Department.
Ivey said Johnson had a "brief past relationship with the victim." He was charged with first degree murder and grand larceny. The investigation is ongoing.
