TUCSON - Tucson Police have determined that a man fatally shot his wife in a midtown residence Wednesday morning before turning the gun on himself.
According to officials, at about 7:15 a.m. on June 15, TPD responded to the 5600 block of East Scarlett Street after receiving a 911 call reporting shots fired. Officers entered the residence and found the bodies of 59-year-old Jeffrey Jaster and 62-year-old Noreen Jaster, who were husband and wife.
Based on the homicide detectives' investigation, there are indications that Mr. Jaster fatally shot his wife before fatally shooting himself.
