Clay County, KY: Clay woman charged with fatally hitting boyfriend with car

A Clay County woman allegedly killed her boyfriend early Friday by hitting him with her car.
Marita B. Sizemore, 44, of Manchester is charged with murder in the death of Mike Hacker, 35, according to a release from state police.
Drug and alcohol use is suspected in the case, said Trooper Don Trosper, a state police spokesman.
Police received information that Hacker and Sizemore had an argument early Friday at her home, and that she told him to leave, Trosper said.
Hacker left the house on foot.
Just before 1:30 a.m., state police received a report of a dead man lying beside U.S. 421 at the bottom of Burning Springs Hill, according to a news release. Hacker's body was about two-tenths of a mile from Sizemore's house, Trosper said.
When Trooper John Barnett went to Sizemore's house, he saw damage on her car that was similar to that of vehicles involved in hit-and-run collisions. Barnett arrested Sizemore, according to the news release.
Sizemore has told police she doesn't remember what happened, Trosper said.
Sizemore was being held in the Clay County Detention Center. In addition to murder, she was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended or revoked license, according to jail records.
