PORT JERVIS NY – Police have arrested the man whose wife died in a New York hospital, last week, following an apparent domestic dispute at their Gold Key Lake home in Pike County. Patrick Kruger, 34, was arrested by New York State Police at Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis, where he had remained for treatment following the incident early last Saturday.
Police were called to a home at 107 Hillside Terrace in Gold Key, on a report of a possible domestic dispute. On arrival, Kruger, and his wife Holly, 32, were found unresponsive. Both were taken to Bon Secours, where Holly was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was performed by an Orange County medical examiner. The death was ruled a homicide. Police have not yet detailed how Holly Kruger died.
Pennsylvania State Police issued a warrant, which was executed yesterday. Patrick Kruger is charged with one count of criminal homicide.
