CROWLEY, La. — Police have arrested a Crowley man, accused of killing his 26-year-old live-in girlfriend and concealing her body behind bedroom furniture.
Police Chief K.P. Gibson tells The Advocate family members found Latosha Johnson's body during a Tuesday morning search of her home.
Gibson says Johnson had been stabbed, although an exact cause of death will be determined during a scheduled autopsy.
He says Johnson's boyfriend, 22-year-old Larry Jackson, was arrested by the Lafayette police on a warrant for second-degree murder.
Jackson's bail has been set at $750,000.
It was not immediately known whether Jackson has an attorney.
