EVERETT -- Prosecutors on Friday filed a second-degree murder charge against a Lynnwood area man accused of killing his wife April 15.
Bart R. Larsen, 49, was charged in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Snohomish County sheriff's deputies believe Bart Larsen is responsible for the death of his wife. Cristy Ann Larsen, 47, was found slain at her home Saturday in the 1700 block of 215th Street SW after a relative called to have deputies check on her welfare.
The couple, both grocery store meat cutters, had been married for 17 years.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner found that Cristy Larsen died from multiple gunshot wounds.

(NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
