An officer shot and killed a man suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend.
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KTLA) -- Residents of an upscale gated community in Riverside say a man shot and killed his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend in a jealous rage before officers arrived and shot him dead.
Police were called to a home in the 11500 block of Trailway Drive, located inside "The Palisades" gated community, just before 6 p.m. Tuesday for a reported shooting.
The gunman, identified as 46-year-old Virgil Millon, confronted an arriving officer and was shot, officials said. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Investigators later found two bodies -- one in the front yard and another on a curb.
Neighbors told KTLA that the victims were Millon's ex-girlfriend Arabella Bradford, 38, and her new boyfriend, Malvin Conely, 43.
Millon was said to have been obsessed with Bradford.
